Scotts® Grub B Gon® MAX Grub Killer – a successful, proven solution to effectively kill grubs to prevent their damage to lawns. Its active ingredient is a live organism that is effective against a variety of beetle grubs, including June beetles and Chafers.

  • A grub is the larvae of a beetle species, such as the masked chafer, European chafer, or Japanese beetle
  • Typical lawn grubs are white, and C-shaped
  • Grubs feed on grass roots and organic matter in the soil, resulting in turf damage
  • The grub lifecycle consists of 4 stages: Egg, Larva, Pupa and Adult

Powerful BT actions allows for multiple applications during the season:

SPRING (April – late May)

To control over-wintering grubs that are now migrating to the surface

SUMMER (late June – early August)

To control newly hatched grub larvae.

FALL (late August – September)

To help control new grubs that have hatched from new beetle eggs throughout the summer.
